If a licensed veterinarian determines that your puppy is unfit for sale due to illness, disease, or a congenital condition, The Pet Shoppe offers two options in accordance with New Jersey’s Pet Purchase Protection Act:
You may return the puppy and exchange it for another of equal value, or
You may choose to keep and treat the puppy, and we will reimburse you for veterinary expenses up to double the purchase price
