If a puppy is found unfit for sale by a licensed veterinarian, the customer can either return the puppy, attempt to cure it and we pay up to double the purchase price in vet bills or return it for another puppy of equal value.
At The Pet Shoppe, we comply with New Jersey’s Pet Purchase Protection Act (N.J.S.A. 56:8-92 et seq.), which protects consumers who purchase a pet that is later found to be unfit for sale by a licensed veterinarian. Our goal is to ensure every puppy goes to a loving home in good health—and we’re here to support you if any concerns arise.
